On T. Person’s two track EP The Sun / The Throat, we hear assemblies of quiet rage amongst processed, mournful vocals and fractured instrumentation; two compositions of light and dark to comfort and confront, built of piano dirges, mangled bothy ballads, YouTube affirmations, strangled double bass and spoken word
T. Person is an artist, writer and menace. They’ve produced film work, poems, essays, performances and music for various projects, including Embassy Gallery, Transmission Gallery & Hidden Door Festival. Their writing is published on numerous platforms: Gutter magazine, SPAM zine, Erotoplasty, Sand Journal and the 87 press. They founded —algia magazine and orangeapplepress, both micropresses for experimental writing. Their research involves movement and sound for future performances at the critical intersections between gender, control, ecology and mythmaking. They want their work to offer space to interrogate, reflect and provoke
